GIU GAL - Day 7

GIU Gal - Day 7
Hi friends! First of all I would like to thank Unity Stamp Co for giving me the opportunity to share my projects with such a great group of stamper’s. Waking up this morning I am a little sad. Today is my last day as GIU Gal of the week. This week has been so good for me. I suffer from depression and this week has given me reason to work on a project each day. It has really helped me and how I feel about myself getting the feedback from all of you. I would like to keep up with this blog for those of you who would continue to follow me! Today my first project is an 8x8 scrapbook page. My next project is a bonus and I tried to do something out of the box. A friend gave me a pile of wallpaper swatches and I challenged myself to choose one and use it in a project. My favorite was this textured one with fibers. I chose to use it as the background on a chipboard tag bookmark.  I challenge you this week to think outside the box and use an unusual item somewhere in your project and share with others! Enjoy and have a GREAT year❣️

GIU Gal - Day 3

Today is already my 3rd day as GIU Gal!

Wow only 4 days to go. The last 2 days trying my hand at sharing my craft has been really fun. At home my time has been spent strictly on my craft space. I took over about half of the kitchen. I am trying to put everything in a compact organized space. We really downsized and I feel it! My husband brought every craft item I own... Seeing it all is overwhelming. I made a promise to myself to only buy Unity Stamps and adhesive in 2018. I hope you all get some inspiration by my projects this week!

Please remember to comment each of the 7 days to be entered into a drawing to win Unity Stamps!!!

Have a great day!
Shannon

Welcome to my Blog

Hi everyone! Welcome to the New Year and my new blog!
My name is Shannon Sunnarborg and am lucky enough to be
January 1-7 GIU Gal of the week.

I am making it my resolution to learn a new technique a week. I am in my 40’s and have been married to my awesome husband Shawn for 27 years. I am the mom to 4 awesome kids. Chelsea 26, Tyler and Jordan 24 and Kaetlin 21!

I LOVE to craft. (Especially stamping and scrapbooking) I have done some sort of crafting since I was small. I started stamping 24 years ago back when we embossed holding the card with the embossing powder over the stove to heat it up, LOL.
My current quest is coloring and shading. Just over a year ago I found Unity on Black Friday and now those are the only stamps I use. My favorites so far and what I have the most of are Angie Girls. I also love the Phyllis Harris line. Both lines you can use for any occasion.

I hope that you like my projects and they inspire you to try something new! Have a great week.
